Melanie Dawson

 Melanie began her professional career in New York City in Promotions and Marketing in the magazine industry. While at publications such as New Woman and Harper’s Bazaar, she was responsible for client satisfaction through planning and execution of high-end events, crafting business proposals, and writing advertising pitches. She then transitioned into a very successful tenure as an  Executive Recruiter, where she worked closely with magazines, websites and advertising agencies to identify qualified candidates for high level positions, generating an impressive amount of revenue for the company. Her ability to anticipate client needs and work with even the most challenging people is one of her best professional qualities.

After moving to Minneapolis with her family, Melanie continued to work in a consultant capacity while raising her daughter Reese. Along the way, she decided to pursue her love of nutrition and wellness and returned to school and received her Nutrition Consultant certificate. She also put her love of golf to use as a volunteer for the University of Minnesota Women’s Invitational for several years.

After serving as Communications Coordinator on the Championship Committee for the very successful 2017 U.S. Senior Amateur held at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis with her golf partner and close friend Allison, she realized that marrying her love of organizing, client satisfaction, planning and communications was the perfect next move. In 2018, Melanie and Allison created Full Swing Consulting, and were promptly contracted to work at the 2018 U.S. Senior Amateur at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, OR.

Melanie lives in Minneapolis with her husband John and teenage daughter Reese. She is an avid golfer, runner of 5 and 10ks, and enthusiastic chef of healthy family meals. She loves an expertly crafted cocktail, traveling and golfing  with her family and her elderly lab Sammy, who inexplicably loves to sleep in laundry baskets.

Allison Krueger

Allison began her career as a high school social studies teacher in Omaha, NE. Because of her ability to effectively communicate and lead some of the most challenging of populations (the male high school student), she was chosen to be a trainer of the Boys Town comprehensive social skills curriculum, as well as a teacher on the Boys Town campus.  Her skills working effectively with and leading students, teachers and school staff were called into service when she was appointed as the co-leader of the school comprehensive plan. Because of her willingness to work hard and advocate for her students, she worked as the concession manager and lead the Junior Senate to produce prom each year.

After moving to Minneapolis with her family, Allison retired from teaching to raise her three boys.  During that period she continued to use her love of hard work by serving as volunteer coordinator for numerous triathlons.  While coordinating eight summer and winter triathlons, Allison used her organizational and leadership skills with the end result being very successful events.  During that time, she became an avid golfer and volunteered for local golf events, including as the volunteer coordinator for three University of Minnesota Women’s Golf Invitationals.

Allison lives in Minneapolis with her husband Kris, three boys (Dylan, Beckett and Rowan), and two rambunctious dogs. She plays golf every chance she gets, loves to travel, runs 5 and 10ks and half marathons, and enjoys playing mah jong.
